For years, we have posted regional death notices as a free public service, while taking on the complete cost of publishing ourselves. We can no longer do so.

Without participating Funeral Centres, Cemeteries, Monument Suppliers and Local Businesses advertising with us, we can no longer run this website at a financial deficit.

We have received dozens of emails by folks upset at the discontinuation of our daily updates, and we apologize.  We also love this site, and considered it a great service to the public by accumulating and listing all Regional Obituaries in one spot.

Also, we appreciate the privacy to not contact the families of friends for funeral arrangements who may be shortly passing, as well as, friends not having to frequently check all local funeral centre websites for service information.

RileyGordon SandraRILEY (Gordon), Sandra Leah Jacquelyn  -  Of Aberfoyle, born March 13, 1940 in Guelph. It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Sandra on May 13, 2018.

Predeceased by her parents Clifford and Vera Gordon. 

Loving sister to Robert (Lis) Gordon, Roger (Audrey) Gordon and Anne (the late Brian) Shaw. 

Devoted mother of Lance (Stephanie), Leanne (Jim), Barclay and Anita (Susan). Adored grandmother 'Gaga' of Brooke, Aaron, Alex and Andrew, known as 'Grandma' to so many, and as 'Hub' to so many more. Loved and cherished by her nieces and nephews. 

Will be fondly remembered by Diane and Peter Granka.  

Sandra was known for her beautiful singing voice and large heart, not to mention her out-of-this-world baking skills.

Family and friends may visit at Wall-Custance funeral home, Guelph, on Thursday, May 17, 2018 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. A funeral service will be held at Duff’s Presbyterian Church in Puslinch on Friday, May 18, 2018 at 11 am. 

Memorial contributions to Hospice Wellington or the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
