For years, we have posted regional death notices as a free public service, while taking on the complete cost of publishing ourselves. We can no longer do so.

Without participating Funeral Centres, Cemeteries, Monument Suppliers and Local Businesses advertising with us, we can no longer run this website at a financial deficit.

We have received dozens of emails by folks upset at the discontinuation of our daily updates, and we apologize.  We also love this site, and considered it a great service to the public by accumulating and listing all Regional Obituaries in one spot.

Also, we appreciate the privacy to not contact the families of friends for funeral arrangements who may be shortly passing, as well as, friends not having to frequently check all local funeral centre websites for service information.

deWilde LammigjeDE WILDE, Lammigje 'Lynn'  -  Passed away peacefully at Wellington Terrace, Fergus on Tuesday, May 15, 2018 at the age of 98.        

Beloved wife of the late Jacob de Wilde (1999). 

Loving mother of John de Wilde (Doreen), Margje Jackson (Gwyn) and Jack de Wilde (Becky). 

Proud Grandma of Vicky, Terry (Sherri), Rob (Carrie), Amanda, Shane, Stacey (Marcel) and Jason        (Veronica). Great Grandma of Jesse, Maria, Rebecca, Nathan, Jarrett, Maxton, Wyatt and Callie. Fondly remembered by Stephanie de Wilde. 

Predeceased by her daughter Rigtje Jensen; son in-law Merv Jensen; grandson Larry Jensen and all her  siblings.

Thank you to the staff at Wellington Terrace for all of your care and kindness shown to our mom and our family over the years.

The family will greet friends at the Gilchrist Chapel – McIntyre & Wilkie funeral home, Guelph, on Friday, May 18, 2018 from 10 – 12 noon. Funeral service in the funeral home chapel at noon, reception to follow service, interment at Memory Gardens, Breslau. 

If desired, memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
