For years, we have posted regional death notices as a free public service, while taking on the complete cost of publishing ourselves. We can no longer do so.

Without participating Funeral Centres, Cemeteries, Monument Suppliers and Local Businesses advertising with us, we can no longer run this website at a financial deficit.

We have received dozens of emails by folks upset at the discontinuation of our daily updates, and we apologize.  We also love this site, and considered it a great service to the public by accumulating and listing all Regional Obituaries in one spot.

Also, we appreciate the privacy to not contact the families of friends for funeral arrangements who may be shortly passing, as well as, friends not having to frequently check all local funeral centre websites for service information.

HEBERT, Bertha Marie (Wojcik)  -  Born in Glace Bay, Nova Scotia on March 27, 1938. Passed away peacefully, at Hospice Wellington, on Wednesday, June 6, 2018 in her 81st year.

Bertha will be dearly missed by her beloved husband Harold Hebert of 61 years; her sons Marc (Frieda), Craig (Debbie) and Brad (Eva); her brother Walter (Priscilla); and also by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Predeceased by her siblings Bernie, Lickie, Wanda, Helen, Freda and Jennie. 

A special thank you to the doctors and nurses at the Grand River Cancer Centre and Guelph General Hospital, as well as the staff at Hospice Wellington for their compassion and care.

Memorial Visitation will take place at the Gilbert MacIntyre and Son funeral home, Hart Chapel, 1099 Gordon St., Guelph, on Sunday, June 10th from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. A Memorial Service will follow in the funeral home chapel at 1:00 p.m.

Donations made to Hospice Wellington or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
