For years, we have posted regional death notices as a free public service, while taking on the complete cost of publishing ourselves. We can no longer do so.

Without participating Funeral Centres, Cemeteries, Monument Suppliers and Local Businesses advertising with us, we can no longer run this website at a financial deficit.

We have received dozens of emails by folks upset at the discontinuation of our daily updates, and we apologize.  We also love this site, and considered it a great service to the public by accumulating and listing all Regional Obituaries in one spot.

Also, we appreciate the privacy to not contact the families of friends for funeral arrangements who may be shortly passing, as well as, friends not having to frequently check all local funeral centre websites for service information.

Wismer RobertWISMER, Robert Michael  -  (Born January 14, 1964)  -  Passed away suddenly June 9, 2018, in Kitchener, ON. 

Survived by wife Patricia Barnhardt, mother Fran Weatherby (Dan), father Wilfred Wismer (Audrey), brother David Wismer (Donna), sister Virginia Bennett (Jim), brother Doug Weatherby (Amanda), step-children Matthew, Bridget, Bryce and Sean Barnhardt, as well as many aunts, uncles, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and cousins.

Rob was top of his game in computer work, and meticulously organized in everything he did. He loved his family dearly. In his spare time, Rob would drive just about anywhere to a drive-in theatre. He would get in his vehicle and go!

Rob’s family will welcome friends and family at Lounsbury funeral home, Cambridge, on Thursday, June 14th from 7-9 pm. Funeral Service will be held at King Street Baptist Church, 361 King Street East, Cambridge on Friday, June 15th at 2 pm, with Pastor Victor Lujetic officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or King Street Baptist Church, Cambridge.
