For years, we have posted regional death notices as a free public service, while taking on the complete cost of publishing ourselves. We can no longer do so.

Without participating Funeral Centres, Cemeteries, Monument Suppliers and Local Businesses advertising with us, we can no longer run this website at a financial deficit.

We have received dozens of emails by folks upset at the discontinuation of our daily updates, and we apologize.  We also love this site, and considered it a great service to the public by accumulating and listing all Regional Obituaries in one spot.

Also, we appreciate the privacy to not contact the families of friends for funeral arrangements who may be shortly passing, as well as, friends not having to frequently check all local funeral centre websites for service information.

Boyd Thomas

BOYD, Thomas Richard 'Tom'  -  At age 68, of Stratford passed away suddenly at University Hospital, London with his family by his side on Saturday, July 7, 2018.

Beloved husband of Cathy Boyd.

Dear father of Tom Boyd (Lindsay) and Tammy Quast (Wes). Loving grandfather of Selina (Matt) and Luke (Alisia).

Brother of Susan, Steve, Rick and Garry. Remembered by the Wilson family and his nieces and nephews.

Predeceased by his parents Gerald and Mary Boyd, brothers Jim, Brad and Joe and brother-in-law Jim Maloney.

Tom worked at Cooper-Standard in Mitchell for 38 years where he formed many life-long friends. 

Friends will be received at Lockhart funeral home, Mitchell, on Tuesday, July 10, 2018 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. where the funeral service will be held on Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Gery Luck officiating. A reception will follow at the Lockhart Reception Centre. Interment in Avondale Cemetery, Stratford.

Memorial donations to the Stratford General Hospital or Kidney Foundation may be made.
