Sherlock VirginiaSHERLOCK, Virginia Sophia  -  At age 96, of Stratford passed away peacefully at Stratford General Hospital on Wednesday April 19, 2017. Virginia was born in Rock Springs, Wyoming on November 5, 1920.

Cherished wife of the late Robert G. Sherlock (1990).

Loving mother of Susan Green (Jim), Jean Coxon (Bill), Anita Buitendyk (Ben) and Nancy Weicker (Wayne). Dear grandmother of Julie Erb (Darcy), Sandra Kuttis (Erik), Wesley Coxon (Preilene), Jeffrey Coxon (Laura), Andrew Buitendyk (Melanie), Carolyn White (Darryl), Adam Buitendyk (Jylian), Kristen Cook (Ryan), Francine Coxon and Jesse Weicker (Ashlie). Wonderful great grandmother of 20 great grandchildren (10 girls and 10 boys).

 

Gordon DavidGORDON, David Alexander  –  Dave Gordon, passed away peacefully on April 19, 2017 at his home in Guelph, surrounded by his family, following an eight month battle with cancer. 

Loving husband of 48 years to Cheryl Gordon. Dearly loved father of Brian Gordon of Cambridge, and Andrea Gordon (Poul-Erik Nielsen) of Guelph. 

Cherished brother of Glenn (Shirley) Gordon of Bracebridge, ON.  Dave will be fondly remembered by his sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nephews, nieces, and especially by his Gordon and Davis cousins. 

 

BUSGOS, Mary  -  Passed away at St. Mary's Hospital on Wednesday, April 19, 2017 at the age of 90. 

She was predeceased by her husband Alex on October 2, 2015. Upon first arriving in Canada in 1951, she worked with her husband at Scotts Shoe Factory in Galt.  he then worked at a textile mill and finally helped her husband operate Alex's Shoe Repair until retirement. 

She is survived by her son John, a sister Vivian Hatges from Toronto, a brother Gus Sprialis from Australia, and 2 nephews Peter and Tom Hatges from Toronto. She will be dearly missed by her many friends.

 

Moncur RobertMONCUR, Robert (Bob) Denis  -  Bob passed away peacefully on Wednesday April 19, 2017 under the loving care of the Pinehaven Nursing Home at age 84. 

A lifetime resident of Kitchener-Waterloo, he is survived by his wife, Yvonne, son Ronald (Shirley), daughter Nancy (Richard) and daughter Jane (Bruce). 

He will be greatly missed by his 14 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.

George is survived by his wife and best friend Joan (nee Baxter); his daughters Ann and Gladys (John) of Cudworth, England, his brother Bob (Gayle). George is survived by many nieces and nephews and their families.

Predeceased by his Sisters, Mary Calrow, Dorothy MacDonnell, Olive Adeney, Barb Hatt and Winnifred Todd and brothers, Jim, Art and Charles.

 

Reinhardt AnnaREINHARDT, Anna Marie  -  Anna Reinhardt passed away peacefully on Tuesday, April 18, 2017 at the Grand River Hospital, Kitchener at the age of 90. 

Anna is reunited in heaven with her husband, Emmerich Reinhardt (2006) of Reinhardt Masonry to whom she was happily married for 58 years and her grandson Kyle Reinhardt (2017). 

Anna will be deeply missed by her children Ann Adams, Janet (Harald) Jorch, and Emmerich (Tabea) Reinhardt. 'Oma' will be missed by all her grandchildren; Krista, Jason, Jeni, Mandi, Lauren and Rebecca, her 7 great-grandchildren and brother Konrad (Shirley) Keller.

 

Tosh BarryTOSH, Barry Norman  -  Of Guelph, passed away peacefully at the Guelph General Hospital on Tuesday, April 18 2017, in his 59th year. 

Beloved husband of 23 years to Jennifer. Loved father of Rachel, Thomas and Johnathan. Proud Papa of Caleb. 

Will be sadly missed by his siblings Ken (Sandy), Ann (Don), Ron, Marylyn and Cara (Rod). Predeceased by his parents Norm and Mary Tosh.

WALKER, Wayne Richard  -  Passed away suddenly at home on Tuesday, April 18th, 2017 at the age of 67.

Survived by his daughter Kim (Mark), granchildren Devin and Lilly, sister Janis and brother Warren (Linda). Predeceased by his son Brian.

Bebingh ElsienBEBINGH, Elsien 'Ella'  -  At age 94, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family at her residence on Tuesday, April 18, 2017. Born in Beilen, Holland, daughter of the late Harm and Harmiena Kok.

Ella was predeceased by her husbands, Henry Huisjes (1982) and Derk Bebingh (2003).

Survived by her children Harmiena Kaldeway, Harry Huisjes (Liz Anderson), Alice Bebingh (Winston Wonch), John (Sientje) Bebingh, Alta (Henry) Van Vliet, Bert (Jackie) Bebingh and Richard Bebingh. Grandmother of 16 grandchildren and 39 great grandchildren.

 

BOLGER, Robert 'Lorne' Eugene  -  Went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, April 18, 2017 at Village at University Gates, Waterloo, at the age of 91 years.

Lorne Bolger was the beloved husband and best friend of Cindy (Martin) Bolger.

Dear father of Jim (Catherine) Bolger of Waterloo and Paul (Wendy Bezeau) Bolger of Conestogo. Loved grandfather of Robert, Kellen, and Michael.

Sadie (Lewis) Foerster, formerly of Elmira, was the beloved wife of the late George Foerster (2010).

McRAE, Kenneth 'Ken' Angus  -  Of Ayr passed away on Monday, April 17th, 2017 at the Cambridge Memorial Hospital. He was in his 80th year.

Beloved husband of Liz, whom he married in 1958.

Dear father of Keven (Jane), Darren, Dean (Tamara). Dear grandfather of Kole, Kyle, Sarah, Dara, Galen, Maggie, Sophie, Hunter and Maddison.

DAVIS, Maureen P.  -  'Close as Pages in a book'  -  At age 87, of R. R. 2 Stratford, passed away suddenly at London Health Sciences Centre-University Hospital Campus on Monday, April 17, 2017. Born in Huddleston, England, daughter of the late Reginald and Dora Burrell.

Beloved wife and best friend of Robert H. Davis.

Maureen was a retired teacher, librarian, proof-reader extraordinaire, bird watcher and a Blue Jays fan.

 

VAN NORMAN, Dorothy Vivian  -  Passed away peacefully on Monday, April 17, 2017 in her 100th year.

Dorothy was predeceased by her loving husband Lloyd (1980).

She will be fondly remembered by her children Ronald (Barb) Van Norman, Barbara Slotegraaf (John, 2011), James (Shannon), 8 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren.

Jean Elizabeth (nee Yates) Costigan, in her 84th year, was the beloved wife of James Robinson Costigan (1989). 

She was the dear mother of Robert (Gail), Donna and William (Kim). Jean was the loving grandmother of Bobbie, Sean (Laura), Ryan, Mark, Daniel, Jonathan and Thomas and she was the great-grandmother of Rory. 

 

Rasper VladimirRASPER, Vladimir Francis  -  It is with great sadness that our family announces the passing of Dr. Vladimir Rasper. Vladimir left us peacefully, on Sunday, April 16, 2017, at the age of 87. 

Vladimir was an honest, witty, fiercely intelligent and caring man, who loved learning, music, drama, baking and travelling the world. He was a friend and mentor to many and truly cherished those relationships. Above all though, Vladimir was a loving and generous husband, father and grandfather.

He will be greatly missed by his wife and best friend, Jarka, his son and daughter-in-law, Vlad and Sophie, his granddaughters, Katie and Alex, and his daughter and son-in-law, Dita and Bram. His loss will also be felt back in his beloved Prague.

Retired after a successful career from Zurich Insurance.

Veteran of WWII RCAF Porcupine Squadron 433 as a mid-upper gunner on a Lancaster bomber.
