Predeceased by his beloved wife Marion in September 2017. Loving father of Rose Marie (predeceased), Richard (Alice), Brian (Donna), Robert, Jim (Sue), Sharon (Barry). Cherished grandfather of 15 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.

Survived by his sister Ruth and by brother Harold. Predeceased by brother Lloyd and by sisters Muriel and Vera.

Bryan was the dear brother of Janette and her husband Andy Castellan, Alan Sheehy and his wife Diane, and Kevin Sheehy and his wife Sharon.

Predeceased by his parents Jack and Jean (Weir) Sheehy. Survived by many nieces and nephews.

Edith was the last surviving member of her immediate family.

She is survived and sadly missed by a sister-in-law Arlene Brown, nieces, Jacalyn and Jennifer and one nephew, Gary and their families in British Columbia as well as many cousins and her friends.

Predeceased by her Parents David Brown and Esther Margaret Kyle as well as her sister Barbara and brother Douglas.

Passed away peacefully after a short battle with cancer surrounded by friends, family and her beloved dogs, Harper and Scout.

Maria is the beloved wife of the late Jose Da Silva, special mother of Nancy and Isaac Anderson. Maria will be forever missed by her granddaughters, Jenna and Ruby Anderson.

Also survived by her brother, Jose Oliveria, nieces, nephews and other family members. Predeceased by her parents, Manuel Francisco Labatt and Maria (Ribeiro) and sister, Maria Leal Lima.

Ruth Anabel (Henderson) Zurbrigg was the beloved wife of Stanley Zurbrigg, and  mother of Verdun Zurbrigg and his wife Joanne of Howick Township, Shelley Zurbrigg of Waterloo, Evelene Weber and her husband Ray of Wingham, Sharon Zurbrigg of Brockville and Les Zurbrigg and his wife Jane of Howick Township.

She will be remembered by her grandchildren Brittany and Kyle Kennedy, Nathan Zurbrigg, Bradan and Angela Dietze, Bryce Dietze, Blake Dietze, Kent Zurbrigg, Karlene Zurbrigg, and Kristin Zurbrigg; and by her great-granddaughter Bria Bradley Dietze.

 

Woodley MartinWOODLEY, Martin Douglas  -  Passed away suddenly, on Thursday, November 2, 2017, at the age of 59 years. Born on April 22, 1958, he is reunited with our loving parents, his mother, Margaret Woodley (Harvey) and father, Francis Arthur Woodley. 

Martin aka 'Shlubba' is survived by his sister, Margo Milloy and her husband Leonard; his niece Amanda Milloy and her fiance Scott Langman; and his nephew, Brandon Milloy. Great uncle to Bella Milloy and James Francis and new baby. 

Martin was a gentle giant and will sadly be missed by family out west and the UK as well as his second family at his home away from home, the Fat Duck Pub, with Rose, and Simon and all his many friends who loved him like their family too.

 

Thompson RaeTHOMPSON, G. Rae  –  Formerly of Atwood, passed away at Listowel Memorial Hospital on Wednesday November 1, 2017 at the age of 81. 

Rae was an associate member of the Royal Canadian Legion Listowel Branch 259. In his younger years, he enjoyed playing goalie for his hockey teams, baseball and crokinole.

Father of Ross Thompson (Sharon Stephens) of Rosseau and grandfather of Ashly Thompson (Paul Risto). Brother of Pauline Price and partner Jene Krop of Victoria BC. Fondly remembered by his special friend Joyce Raycraft of Atwood and her family, the extended Graul family and Ed Price.

 

MARTIN, Rebecca (Bauman)  -  Passed away peacefully at Listowel Memorial Hospital on Wednesday, November 1, 2017 in her 100th year.

Rebecca married Onias Bauman on March 21, 1944, who predeceased her October 22, 1986, then married Sidney F. Martin on April 18, 1989, who predeceased her December 22, 1999.

Dear mother of Lovina and Edwin Frey of Glen Allan, Abner and Martha Bauman of Millbank, Elsie Bauman of RR 2, Wallenstein, and Mrs. Mary Brubacher of RR 2, Wallenstein. Lovingly remembered by seven grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, five step-grandchildren and 19 step-great-grandchildren.
