WILLIAMS, Linda Marie - After 33 plus years of strength and courage, Linda passed away peacefully at Humber River Hospital on Thursday, November 15th, 2018 at 67 years of age.
Born in New Waterford, N.S., a place she always kept near to her heart.
Linda resided in the Oshawa area for many years and then West Park Healthcare Centre, Toronto.
Linda's strength and perseverance is a lesson she quietly taught us all over the years.
To wake each morning and see each day with fresh eyes and attitude spoke to her character.
Predeceased by her parents Terrence and Margaret McGovern and her brother Bernard. Dear mother of Robin and Michael. Mommy’s mom of Ria and Noah. Cherished sister of Patsy Gray, Terry McGovern (Tillie), Colleen Wellwood (Len), Cindy Batty (Rick) and Maureen Chute (Reg).
Linda will be fondly remembered by her Uncle Frank and Aunt Barb, her many nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and friends. Sadly missed by her dear friends, Janet Colterman and AldonaTallo.
A very special Thank You to the staff at West Park Healthcare Centre for their exceptional care and compassion over the last 27 years and to the staff at Humber River Hospital for their compassionate care of Linda.
As per Linda’s wishes there will be no service. Cremation has taken place.
