Rose JohnROSE, John William  - It is with great sadness in our hearts that we announce the sudden passing of John William Rose of Oshawa Ontario, on April 16th 2019, at 70 years of age.

John was the son of the late Harry and Madeleine Rose, much loved brother of Barbara Tarbuck (Michael), and predeceased by cherished brothers Pat Rose, and David Rose (Cathie, Joey and Carrie).

Uncle John will be greatly missed by nieces  Kirsten Bruce (Randy),  Katrina McAdam (Colin), Sarah Tarbuck, and nephews William and Glen Rose. Uncle John was a loving Great Uncle to Beatrice , Fiona, and Isla McAdam;  Rowan, Callum and Euan Bruce; and Jack and Alice MacDougall.

John Rose grew up in Oshawa, and made many friends during this time that he remained close to over the years.  He was a carpenter by trade, and taught at Durham College for many years.

John was a fixture at his favourite pub  “T. Williams”. He had many friends here that he cherished greatly...you all meant the world to him. We hope that the happy memories of time spent with John at the pub will be a comfort to the many dear friends who will miss him so much.

A celebration of life is planned for John’s friends and family. Please email This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. for details.
