GAINE, James “Jim” Arnold - It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Jim Gaine, age 90, on Thursday June 27th, 2019, peacefully in his sleep at home.
Dear father of Dianne, and cherished Gramp of Kyle (Sarah), Cameron, Connor and Holly.
Beloved husband of Beth and dear Step Father to Nancy (Danny), Murray (Karin) and Ken (Susan).
Jim has left us to join his parents; Jim and Betty and his siblings; Pat Lawler, Don and Lois Bassett.
He will be dearly missed by all his family and friends, but the love, caring and wisdom he gave to us will be remembered always.
Beautiful memories at the cottage he built and so dearly loved will remain forever.
A celebration of life reception will be held at MOUNT LAWN FUNERAL HOME & CEMETERY, 21 Garrard Road, Whitby (905-443-3376) on Thursday July 4th, 2019 from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, a donation can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
