SIDES, Dave Joseph Sides -
Peacefully passed away in his sleep on Friday, April 19, 2024 at his residence in Whitby.
Dave, at the age of 80, was the beloved spouse of Lesley Nightingale for 25 years.
He was the loving father of Matthew Sides (Lise) and Ben Sides, and the cherished Nonno of Ryan and Carter; Austin, James and Jarod.
Loving step-father of Roy Nichols, Brendan Nichols, Paula Nichols (Dan Flavell) and Liam Nichols (Heather), and the grandfather of Dahlia, Lily and Izak.
Dave will be missed dearly by his friend Gord Butt (Marilyn).
Visitation will take place at MOUNT LAWN FUNERAL HOME, 21 Garrard Road, Whitby L1N 3K4 on Sunday, May 5, 2024 from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m.
If desired, memorial donations to the Alzheimer’s Society of Durham Region or the Lakeridge Health Foundation Cardiac Unit would be appreciated by the family.
