She was an avid crossword puzzler and reader; kind, generous and giving to everyone who had the pleasure of knowing her. Adele was predeceased by her husband Donald and son Douglas.

She is survived by sons David (Lisa) and Derek (Leslie), daughter-in-law Teresa, sister Norein, niece Deanne (Ray) as well as her grandchildren Elizabeth, Christina (Joe), Catherine (Chaitanya), Cheryl (Mark), William, Alexandra, Liam and step grandchildren Jennifer and Robert as well as many great-grandchildren.

Many thanks to the staff at Douglas Crossing Retirement Community, and the staff at the Uxbridge Cottage Hospital.
