FERGUSSON, Dennis Gerald - (June 19, 1928 - December 20, 2017) -
With his loving family by his side and after braving several weeks of complications after kidney surgery, Dennis passed away at Lakeridge Health Oshawa on Wednesday, December 20th, 2017 at the age of 89.
Dennis will be greatly missed by all who were fortunate enough to be part of his family and circle of friends, especially by Sheila Mitchell Fergusson, his beloved wife of over 66 years, his adoring children Ken (Pat) Fergusson, Al (Kathy) Fergusson and Gord (Theresa) Fergusson, his cherished grandchildren Scott (Aileen) Fergusson, Kristy Fergusson, Elyse Lacroix (Travis Coots), Dana Fergusson (Jose Barbosa), Tara Fergusson and Lauren Fergusson (Jeff Draga) and by his great grandchildren to whom he was a doting great grandad, Dillon, Jodie, Ellie, Evan, Addison, Carlie, Poppy, Liam and Mitchell, and his loving sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law,nieces and nephews in Canada and Scotland.
Visitation will be held at OSHAWA FUNERAL HOME, 847 King Street West, on Wednesday, December 27th from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm with funeral service to follow in the Chapel at 1:00 pm.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated.
