Jess Rev MarshallJESS, Rev. Marshall Stephen  - September 21, 1926 – March 13, 2018 

Born in Toronto Township Passed away peacefully on Tuesday, March 13, 2018, in his 92nd year, surrounded by his family. 

Beloved husband of Grace Johanna (nee Baron). 

Loving father of Ian (Susan), Laurie (Karen) and Glenn (Marion).  

Cherished grandfather of Sarah, Colin (Gloria), Rebecca, Gregory, Danielle, Amanda (David), Hilary, Lianna and great granddaughter Kinley. 

Rev. Jess was a graduate from the University of Toronto with a Bachelor of Arts in 1949, Knox Presbyterian College in 1952 and received his MDiv in 1972.  A long time member of the Masonic Lodge and a long time Rameses Shriner.

Friends may call at the MOUNT LAWN FUNERAL HOME & CEMETERY, 21 Garrard Rd., Whitby, 905-443-3376 on Sunday, March 18, 2018 from 2-4 & 7-9 pm and on Monday, March 19, 2018 from 10 am until time of Memorial Service at 11 am at Knox Presbyterian Church, 147 Simcoe Street North, Oshawa with The Reverend Deon L. Slabbert officiating.

Rev. Jess was the past minister at Wilkie, Biggar Presbyterian  Church and Rosetown Presbyterian Church in Saskatchewan;  Caven Presbyterian Church in Bolton, ON; Nashville Presbyterian Church in Nashville, ON;   First Presbyterian Church in Collingwood, ON;  Saint Andrews Presbyterian Church in Welland, ON and Knox Presbyterian Church  in Oshawa, ON.  

Marshall became a Master Mason in 1954 in Saskatchewan, Past Master of True Blue  Masonic Lodge # 98 G.R.C.  Appointed Grand Chaplain on July 17, 1969, Member of Pentalpha No. 28, Oshawa Royal Arch Masons of Canada in the Province of Ontario, Member of Oshawa Rose Croix, Member of the Royal Order of Scotland and Coronted HIG on September 13, 1990 at St. John`s , Newfoundland.  

In lieu of flowers, donations to Knox Presbyterian Church Oshawa Memorial Fund or Presbyterian World Service and Development would be appreciated by the family.
