KELLACHAN, Daniel - (April 19th, 1940 – June 28th, 2018)
Loving husband to his wife of 57 years Moira.
Loving father to Angela, Moira, Helen and Kathleen (deceased).
A loving Papa to his grandchildren Daniel, Christine (deceased), Mark, Michelle, Scott, Drew and Adam, and great grandchildren Nolan, Alexis, Macy and Aubrey.
Dan was born in Blantyre, Scotland to James and Annie Kellachan to a family of 5 children, Margaret, Daniel, Patrick, James and Cathleen.
It was while in Glasgow he met the love of his life Mary (Moira) Slaven, they married young at 20 and 21 and went on to have 4 wonderful daughters.
In 1976, Dan brought his family to Canada where he worked hard to provide his family a wonderful life.
Besides his family, his greatest passions were golf and watching his beloved Glasgow Celtic Football team.
A true gentlemen with a heart of gold and a proud Scotsman to the end!
Visitation will be held at OSHAWA FUNERAL HOME, 847 King Street West (905-721-1234) on Wednesday, July 4th, from 12:00 noon until time of Funeral Service in the Chapel at 1:00 p.m.
Memorial donations to the Alzheimer Society would be appreciated.
