With the deepest of sorrow, we announce the passing of Peter Popowycz on Wednesday, May 1, 2024, at the Oakville Trafalgar Memorial Hospital with his family by his side.
Beloved husband of Jennifer (Mullin), his best friend of 42 years and wife for 30 years (May 14th). Loving father to Matthew and Michael.
Dear son to Anna and Anton Popowycz; and cherished brother of John (Julie), and George (Rosaline); and brother-in-law to Virginia. Adored uncle to Shannon, Ashley, Jeremy, and Melania.
Wonderful son-in-law to Marie Mullin (Ronald). Peter was a graduate of McMaster University, and a professional engineer (P.Eng). He will be forever remembered for his love of hockey (Go Leafs Go), golf, backyard BBQ and his big heart.
Family and friends were everything to Peter and he made every person he encountered feel loved and important.
Visitation will be held at the Glen Oaks Funeral Home & Cemetery, 3164 Ninth Line, Oakville, on Wednesday, May 8th, from 5-8 p.m.
