SANTOS, Manuel Duarte - Manuel Santos, age 75, passed away peacefully on Friday, November 2, 2018 at Baycrest Centre in Toronto.
He was born December 26, 1942 in Almargem Viseu, Portugal, to Custodia Duarte & Jose Maria Rodrigues Dos Santos.
He was a devoted husband of 52 years to Laurinda Santos. Father of three, Rosemary, married to Joe, Tina, married to Chris & Carlos, married to Helen. He was the grandfather of 8: Jessica, Brandon, Alyssa, Nicolas, Alison, Victoria, Olivia & Emma.
He served in the Military during the war of independence in Mozambique. In 1973, started a new life with his family in Canada. Where he worked at Greenwall Forming Construction until he retired at the age of 65. He was a well-respected person, a wonderful husband and terrific father & grandfather. He will be missed greatly.
All those who want to celebrate the life of Manuel and pay their respects can do so at Delmoro Funeral Home, 61 Beverly Hills Drive, Toronto, on Monday November 5th, from 6 - 9 pm and on Tuesday November 6th from 2 - 4 pm and 6 - 9 pm.
A funeral will be celebrated in St. Matthews Catholic Church at 9:30 am located at 706 Old Weston Rd. at Rogers Rd., Toronto on Wednesday November 7th. Entombment to follow at Park Lawn Cemetery.
