LOGAN, Barbara Joan - December 30, 1934 - November 3, 2018
Barbara Joan Logan died peacefully on November 3, 2018 after a 5 year battle with Multiple Myeloma.
Beloved mother to Cameron, mother-in-law to Aniko and grandmother to Rachel, Geneviève, Gregory and Ingrid.
Barbara was born in Calgary, Alberta on December 30, 1934 and moved to Vancouver two years later.
She left Vancouver in the late sixties to live in Toronto where she remained until 2016. For the last two years she lived in Ottawa in order to remain close to her family.
Barbara was always very socially active enjoying many activities such as traveling the world (China, UK, France, Mediterranean, US, Mexico, et cetera), tennis, golf, choir, Hawaiian dancing and so on.
She was also extremely proud of her 35th year medallion from AA. Barbara worked at Bell Telephone (5+ years), Guy Chart (5+ years), The Law Society of Upper Canada (19+ years) and Joe Farkas (10+ years) to name a few places. Barbara was really fond of her cats Cica, Cocoa, Benjamin, and Susie (Alex not so much).
Donations in Barbara's name can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
The family will hold a celebration of her life at a later date.
