MacDonald DonaldMACDONALD, Donald Angus James  -  Donald Angus James Macdonald passed away on Thursday, December 13, 2018.

Don, husband, father, brother, uncle and wonderful friend passed away at the age of 82.

Don was predeceased by his parents Annie and Donald, brother Jack and sister Dorothy.

He leaves behind Nancy his former wife, his daughters Tracy Meagher, Marcia McMillan, their spouses Ken Meagher, Malcolm McMillan, grandchildren Breanna, Ciara Meagher, Munro, Madison McMillan and his many nieces and nephews.

A special thank you to the staff at Mount Sinai Hospital who took such good care of Don during his last days.

Don had a tremendous, quirky sense of humor, he had a passion for history, travel and golf.

He played the bagpipes and loved his time with the band and marching in parades.

He was very good at cribbage, and enjoyed fine wines and food of all types.

Don was a member of the LPCI Old Boys and Girls Club.

He graduated from Lawrence Park Collegiate where he and his brother Jack both played football. Don and Jack both went on to study pharmacy at the University of Toronto. His first pharmacy was in the Royal York area then onto Shoppers Drug Mart in Albion Mall. Don, as he wished, was cremated.

His daughters and families will be holding a get-together in the Spring to remember Don and share our memories of him.
