MCDOWELL, Geraldine Margaret - Went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday January 30, 2019.
She was the beloved wife of the late Melvin McDowell (1985).
Loved mother of Cheryl Champion nee McDowell (Brian, deceased) and Brian McDowell (Robin) of Cobourg, Ont.
She was the eldest child born to Morley and Margaret Veitch.
Much loved sister to Reverend Donald Veitch (June) of Detroit, Michigan, both deceased, Dorothy (Verne) Bender, of Listowel Ont., both deceased, and is survived by her youngest sister Ruth (Peter) Melnychuk of Mesa, Arizona.
She leaves behind three grandchildren, Stephanie Gaar nee McDowell (Justin), Sean Champion, and Ashley Champion.
She will be fondly remembered by those who loved her.
The funeral for Geraldine McDowell will be held at Chapel Ridge Funeral Home, Markham on Wednesday February 6, 2019 at 1:00pm with refreshments to follow. Viewing will take place one hour before the funeral.
