Brady DwightBRADY, Dwight Francis Brady   -  Passed away peacefully on Saturday, April 13, 2024, at the age of 81.

Beloved husband of Marilyn, who passed away just two and a half months earlier, Dwight is survived by his devoted daughters, Heather (Marshall Posner) and Robyn (Mike Regnier); grandchildren, Julian, Daniel, and Molly; and brother, Michael.

Dwight was predeceased by parents, H. Dwight and Ruby; and brother, Mark.

A wine connoisseur, classic car lover, and ham radio operator, Dwight loved everything from Bach to the Beach Boys, quoting Monty Python, blaring the opening five minutes of Top Gun on top volume, and telling corny dinner party jokes (let me tell you about Roy Rogers and the cougar that chewed his new boots...) He liked rare steaks, rice pudding, and a well poured pint of Guinness.

Dementia began to claim Dwight's memory in 2002 and he spent his final years in long term care. Many thanks to the staff at Shepherd Lodge for over a decade of patience, attention, and care.

Cremation has taken place. A joint memorial for Dwight and Marilyn will be held at Yorkminster Park Baptist Church, 1585 Yonge Street, Toronto at 1 p.m. on Saturday, May 11, 2024.
