HOMEWOOD, Audrey  -  Passed away on April 9, 2024.

Audrey, who was born in England, having a lifelong love of adventure, boarded a ship and sailed to Canada only knowing one soul in Toronto.

She embarked on a career with the CBC as a Producer of the News, travelling the world, witnessing and reporting on some of its seminal moments.

Audrey was adventurous, fiercely independent, and a lover of culture and the arts.

She was always inquisitive, enthusiastic and encouraging. In her later years, never one to be daunted by a challenge, she obtained her degree from University of Toronto, Woodsworth College.

She will be sorely missed by her friends; her brother-in-law, John Slaymaker; nephews, Christopher, Peter and Barry; her great-nieces, Amy Homewood and Catherine Slaymaker; great-nephew, James Slaymaker; goddaughter, Jennifer Kingsley.

On Saturday, May 4th, between 3-5 p.m., a Celebration of Life will be held at 21 Dale Avenue, Suite 534, Toronto.
