Santo DianaSANTO, Diana Santo  - April 22, 1945 - November 29, 2017

passed away peacefully on November 29, 2017 in her home in Toronto.

Diana was born on April 22, 1945 in Toronto, daughter to Olga and Emilio Pompilio and sister to Vincent, Amelia and the late Loretta.

She married Dr. William Santo on June 3, 1967 and had recently celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary.

Diana received her BA in Geography from the University of Toronto and went onto make significant strides in the world of Urban Planning.

She was a Fellow of the Canadian Institute of Planners and held many prominent positions with the Ministry of Municipal Affairs and Housing, the Ontario Municipal Board (Vice Chair) and the MMM Group.
She was the loving mother of 3 children, Marna (David), Amanda and William (Melissa), and Nana to 4 lovely grandchildren Allegra, Brayden, Aubrey, and Piper.

Diana enjoyed many years at the cottage and loved good food, fine wine, and entertaining friends and family.

Friends may visit at the Trull Funeral Home & Cremation Centre (2704 Yonge St.-5 blocks south of Lawrence Ave.) on Monday December 4th from 2 until 4 pm and 6 until 8 pm.

A funeral mass will be held on Tuesday December 5th at Blessed Sacrament Church (24 Cheritan Ave, Toronto) at 11 am.

In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations to the Princess Margaret Cancer Foundation.
