Lucas MargaretLUCAS, Margaret Jane "Peggy" (nee ROBB)  - Beloved wife of John Lucas Born October 24, 1928 in Toronto, ON, Peggy passed away from cancer at age 89 at Trillium Health Partners - Mississauga, on Wednesday, November 22, 2017 with family at her side.

She was predeceased by her parents Dr. Harvey Robb and Willa (Helson) Robb and her brother Lex Robb.

Loving mother to daughters Sandra (Carl) Scott and Vicky (Brian) Flett.

Adored grandmother to 3 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. She will be greatly missed by her many nieces, nephews and friends.

Peggy was a strong woman with an adventurous spirit and always told us to follow our dreams which she did with passion.

Our mother was a remarkable lady who was ahead of her time and found being a career woman very rewarding. She had various careers including, a Registered Nurse who graduated from Victoria College in London, ON, Secretary/Manager for Vidon Productions at Queen's Park and Liaison Officer for CBC. Peggy had many talents. She performed with the Canadian Opera Company and The Festival Singers of Toronto to name a few. She had a beautiful voice.

Music was a big part of her life and she listened to classical music right until the end. Mom loved horseback riding and rode at every opportunity. She was such an animal lover and had many dogs and cats throughout her life. Travel was another great interest and she was very fortunate to have explored most of the world. We had tremendous admiration for Peggy as she taught us so much and was an inspiration.

She will be forever in our hearts. Many thanks to the staff at Trillium Health Partners and Lake Shore Retirement Residence in Burlington.
