Taylor WilliamTAYLOR, William Edward (Bill)  - March 14, 1922 – December 5, 2017

Passed away peacefully at Etobicoke General Hospital.

Predeceased by his beloved wife Valerie (1999). Loving father of Donald (Lois) and dear grandfather of Jonathan (Carolyn) and Matthew.

Bill served his country during WWII in the Royal Canadian Navy. He was the proprietor of Taylor's Meat Market on Dundas St. in Etobicoke from 1946 to 1965.

He was Chief of Security for the former The Ontario Jockey Club, Standardbred Division during the 1970s and 80s.

Bill will be missed by many, including caring neighbours from the Lion's Gate community (where he lived from 1981 to 2015) and his special friends from the Dorking, Ontario area.

Many thanks to the wonderful and loving staff of Westside Long Term Care, where Bill lived for the last two plus years of his life.

Friends are invited to a Celebration of Bill's Life on December 12th at 2 p.m. at St. Giles Kingsway Presbyterian Church (in the lower hall), 15 Lambeth Road, Etobicoke. Enter the church through the parking lot side doors and proceed down stairs.
