Court SusanCOURT, Susan Camille (nee BAKER)   - Passed away on December 31, 2017 surrounded by her loved ones at the age of 72.

Susan was born on February 10, 1945 in Vancouver, British Columbia to parents Ralph Baker and Ruth (nee Kimball) of Fort MacLeod and Raymond, Alberta.

She was an extraordinary woman and wonderful mother and will be missed more than words can express by her two children Carson and Caron, grandson Owen, former spouse Clive and her beloved Andrew.

After obtaining her Bachelor of Music degree at the University of British Columbia in 1966, Susan completed her Master of Arts in music theory at Brigham Young University in 1971.

In addition to raising her children, she enjoyed a professional career that included teaching in the United States and then managing the Yamaha Canada corporate music school for twenty years. Later, Susan helped handicapped youth prepare for the workforce at Seneca College.

Most recently, she enjoyed a career as a real estate agent at Weiss Realty Ltd. The family thanks the doctors and staff at Sunnybrook's ALS Clinic for their care and support over the last two years.

They would also like to thank Dr. Kirshen and RNs Neloofar and Carol. The memorial service will be held at Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints at 19 Northdale Road (401 and Bayview) on Monday, January 8, 2018 at 3:00 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the ALS Society of Canada.
