Gaylor DennisGAYLOR, Dennis "Whitey"  - May 25, 1939 - January 19, 2018  At the age of 78 years, Dennis passed away unexpectedly at Markham Stouffville Hospital on Friday, January 19, 2018.

Son of Lillian Blanche (Marshall) Gaylor (predeceased) and Frank Gaylor (predeceased).

Predeceased by his brother Doug Gaylor.

Long loved husband of Barbara Jean (Bonney) and father to Jennifer Gaylor (Jim Falle) and Chris, Grandpa to Jasmine, Emma and Bridget.

Known as "Whitey" to many friends, Dennis spent many successful years in print sales after apprenticing as a Typesetter with the Toronto Telegram.

Known as a hard worker, honest friend and good neighbour for many years in Markham and then north Stouffville. He will always be remembered for his unique talents fixing snowmobiles, cutting wood, woodworking, golfing, boating and always keeping busy.

An avid fisherman up at the cottage and at Lake Temagami where he enjoyed many hours visiting friends, helping out neighbours and having more than the occasional "rum and coke" or glass of wine. Relatives and friends are asked to please join the family at Dixon Garland Funeral Home, 166 Main Street North (Markham Road), Markham, on Saturday, January 27th between 1 and 4 p.m. for visitation and sharing memories.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated. Many thanks to Dr. Solow and staff at Markham Stouffville Hospital for their care over the years.
