HERMAN, Mavis Susan (nee MEINTJIES) - It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our dear mother and grandmother on Friday, June 29, 2018.
Predeceased by her beloved husband George.
Loving mother to George and Michael and cherished grandmother to Michelle and Danielle.
Born December 3, 1927 in Queenstown, South Africa, she was the eldest of five to Gladys and Joseph Meintjies.
She will be remembered as a dedicated and passionate school teacher, who always cared for the wellbeing and success of her students.
According to Mavis's wishes, a private family Celebration of Life will take place.
In her memory, donations may be made to World Vision Canada.
