HUGHES, Eric V. - November 18, 1930 – July 13, 2018
We sadly announce the passing of Eric V. Hughes, beloved husband of Joy and loving father of Ellyn (Martin), dear grandfather of Laura.
Fondly remembered by brother Ted Hughes (Helen), sister Marion Montgomery (Bill), eight nephews and many dear and caring friends.
Eric lived life to the fullest spending 35 years with the Scarborough Board of Education.
His enthusiasm and fascination with how young children learn was a lifelong love.
Eric leaves us with many happy memories of travels and holidays.
In lieu of flowers, please send donations to either the Alzheimer Society of Canada or the Heart & Stroke Foundation.
A graveside Ceremony will be held on Wednesday, August 1st, 11 a.m. at Resthaven Memorial Gardens, Apostles Garden, 2700 Kingston Rd.
This will be followed by a reception at McDougall and Brown Funeral Home, 2900 Kingston Road.
