Stitt Dr JerrySTITT, Dr. Jerry  - It is with great sadness that the family of Dr. Jerry Stitt announces his passing on July 23, 2018…his 90th birthday.

Much loved father of Carole (Don Carmichael), Mark, Mike and Rob.

Very special and adored Grampa of Emilee and Meilin.

He was predeceased by his sweet Lorraine in 2016. Jerry was a man of action who was constantly learning and engaging in the world around him and these qualities stayed with him right up to the end.

In spite of the challenges that he faced in his last years, he was determined to be part of the world and not watch from the sidelines.

As Dad requested, there will be no funeral. A private interment of his ashes will be held at a later date.

A great game of tennis or a long row across the lake followed by a large glass of good wine would be a wonderful way to celebrate and remember the lives of Lorraine and Jerry.

We would like to thank the staff at Chartwell Isabella in Thunder Bay and Delmanor Elgin Mills in Richmond Hill for their kind and compassionate support of Dad.

If people so desire, in lieu of flowers, donations to the Alzheimer Society or the Thunder Bay Regional Cancer Center are respectfully requested.

"There comes a time when suddenly you realize that laughter is something you remember; it is then that you know that truly there are no ordinary moments".
