STABILE, Vincenzo Stabile Obituary

STABILE, Vincenzo – Peacefully surrounded by his loving family, Vincenzo passed away on Thursday, December 10, 2015 at the St. Catharines General Hospital, at the age of 88.

Vincenzo will be forever missed by his wife of 58 years, Margherita. Beloved father of Anna (Joseph) Bufalino and Leo (Anna Maria) Stabile.

Cherished Nonno of Rosemary (Lee) Zoula, Frank (Carly) Bufalino, Vince Bufalino, Leeanna and Vincent Stabile. Proud bisnonno of Maximus, Sofia, Avery and Colin.

Dear brother of Calogero (Maria) Stabile, Antonina (the late Peter) Maltese and Lina (Baldo) Lupo. Vincenzo will be greatly missed by his brother and sister-in law, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Vince was always dedicated to his family. Vincenzo was passionate about his garden and he enjoyed hunting; however, his greatest love was his grandchildren.

A special thank you to the staff at Henley House and at the NHS- St. Catharines Site- Medical Nephrology Unit for taking great care of Vincenzo.

Visitation will be held at the George Darte funeral chapel, 585 Carlton Street, St. Catharines on Saturday, December 12th from 7-9 p.m. and on Sunday, December 13th from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Vigil prayers will be held in the funeral home on Sunday.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Alfred’s Roman Catholic Church, 272 Vine Street on Monday, December 14th at 11 a.m. Entombment to follow.

As an expression of sympathy, donations may be given to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or to the Canadian Cancer Society.
