ARMSTRONG, Robert ‘Bob’ Armstrong Obituary

ARMSTRONG, Robert ‘Bob’ – (February 15, 1929 – December 21, 2015) – With sadness, we announce Bob’s peaceful passing following a brief stay in hospital.

He is survived by his loving wife and caregiver Barbara and his children Jim, Sue (Barbara), Nancy Gibson (Mike) and his brother Jim (Mary) and sister-in-law Eve. Bobby was the proud Grampy to James, Kennedy, Brock Gibson (Jenna) and Ryan Gibson (Katie).

He was predeceased by his parents Harry and Viola Armstrong and his dear older brother Os (Eve).

Bob was a devoted family man, an avid outdoorsman and member of Shawandagooze Fish and Hunt Club, a long time Ottawa South Kiwanian and 40-year employee of the Ottawa Citizen.

Friends are invited to visit at Capital Funeral Home & Cemetery, 3700 Prince of Wales Drive, Ottawa, Ontario on Thursday, January 7, 2016 from 11 a.m. until time of Funeral Service at 12:30, followed by interment and a brief reception.
