WILKES, John Ballingal –

John passed away peacefully with his family by his side at Sunrise of Aurora on Wednesday, October 7, 2015, in his 94th year.

He was predeceased by his loving wife of 55 years,

Eleanor Elizabeth (nee Towler) and his recent partner in life Sarah Paterson (Patsy). John leaves 3 children: Peter (Gerri), Patricia (Paul) Hartley and Victoria (David) Tranter.

He was blessed with 7 grandchildren: Mathew, Meredith, Kate, Jeremy, Scott, Christopher and Taylor and 4 great- grandchildren: David, Forrest, James and Aaron.

A special thank you to the caring staff at Sunrise of Aurora. Friends will be received at St. Philip’s Anglican Church, 25 St. Phillips Road on Tuesday, October 13th from 10 a.m. until time of memorial service at 11 a.m. Interment to follow in St. Philip’s Churchyard and a reception in the church hall.

In lieu of flowers, donations to Southlake Regional Health Centre Foundation would be appreciated..
