LONEY, Al Loney Obituary

LONEY, Al – Peacefully, after a lengthy illness, on Thursday, October 8, 2015 in his 76^th year.

Al was a longtime City Councillor (Nepean, Regional and Ottawa). Beloved husband of the late Eleanor Loney. Loving father of David (Lynn) and Brent (Sheila). Dear grandfather of Jonathan, Thomas, Graeme and Carleen. Great-grandfather of Dahlia.

Al is survived by his sister Lois Hodgins (Brian) and brothers Ernie Loney and Bill Loney (Sandy). Predeceased by his brother Thomas Loney (Lauraine).

The Loney family would like to thank all the staff at Carleton Lodge for the care given to Al.

Friends may call at the Garden Chapel of Tubman Funeral Homes 3440 Richmond Road, Nepean, Ontario on Sunday, October 18th from 2 to 4 p.m. Funeral service will be held in the chapel on Monday, October 19th at 11 a.m.

For those who wish, memorial donations to Council on Aging of Ottawa or the Nepean Museum Reserve Fund would be appreciated.
