ROSS, Alexander (Sandy) McKenzie Munn Ross – Obituary
ROSS, Alexander (Sandy) McKenzie Munn – (June 6, 1943 to October 10, 2015) – On Saturday October 10, 2015, Sandy Ross passed away peacefully with his wife Betty and his children Kathlyne and Graham by his side.
He will be lovingly remembered by Betty his wife of more than 48 years, Kathlyne and her husband John and daughter Sophie; Graham and his wife Shannon and their three children Meghan, William and Henry.
Born in Paisley Scotland in 1943, Sandy moved to Canada as a young boy.
He will be remembered for his many accomplishments; Opti-Knights JR Champions of 71, Guelph Citizen of the year in 80, building successful businesses in Ross Drywall and Eldale Structures. Most importantly he will be remembered for his great conversations, the way he used his wit to make people laugh and his passion for the game of golf. Family was most important to Sandy, along with his very close circle of friends. He had a life full of fun, laughter and fulfillment. Later in life, he accepted his health challenges with courage and dignity and never lost his sense of humour. He was an inspiration to all who knew him.
Friends will be received at the Wall-Custance Funeral Home & Chapel, 206 Norfolk St., Guelph, Ontario, Wednesday 7-9 p.m and 1 hour prior to service. Funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel on Thursday, October 15, 2015 at 2 p.m..
