DEVINS, Brian   – With deep sadness, we bid farewell to the passing of Brian Bernard Devins, beloved father, husband, papa and friend, a remarkable man whose life was a testament to love, creativity, and profound thought.

Born on February 4, 1951, in Toronto, ON, to the late Bernard and Shirley (Cox) Devins, Brian passed away peacefully, on Tuesday, November 14, 2023, leaving cherished memories and an enduring legacy.

He will be reunited in eternal peace with his beloved siblings, Ross, Leanne (Pestill) Devins; and his dear son, Eric, whose absence was deeply felt over the years.

After 16 years, he will also join his late husband, Tim R. Smith, whom he cherished deeply.

Brian was a devoted father to Rachel; and a doting Papa to Jake and Gwenyth, whose laughter brought him immeasurable joy. Uncle to Timothy; and a brother-in-law to Art Pestill; and was cherished by his dear friend, Erline.

Brian’s artistic talents as an Interior Designer illuminated spaces and hearts, crafting beauty in every corner he touched, leaving an indelible mark on all who knew him. To honour Brian’s wishes, a private family funeral will celebrate his life.

While we sincerely appreciate the outpouring of love and support, we kindly ask for understanding as we gather to bid farewell to our beloved Brian in an intimate setting.
