CROUCH, Boyd Jeffrey Crouch

It is with great sadness that the family of Boyd Crouch announces his passing after a long battle with cancer.  Boyd Jeffrey Crouch was the beloved son of proud parents, Terry and Nan Crouch, and brother to younger sister, Alison.  Boyd passed away on 5th April 2026, at The Grace Salvation Army Hospital in Toronto, surrounded by caring staff, and after receiving personal visits and videocalls from those close to him.  Boyd was born in Bexley Heath, Kent, England, and was educated at Dartford High School for boys, 1965 – 1970. He spent his formative years after school in the area of Burgess Hill, West Sussex, where he became a fixture of the local pub, The Top House. Boyd enjoyed many years working for American Express in Brighton, before moving to his adopted country of Canada in his late twenties.  He enjoyed many years working at Lang Michener in Toronto where he made many friends who remember his dedication and English accent.  Boyd was an ardent fan of Formula 1 racing and baseball (Toronto Blue Jays). Boyd spent many summer holidays with his family enjoying picnics by the seaside in Scotland and spent many a Hogmanay (New Year) there with family at the village bowling club.  Sadly, in his later years, Boyd was diagnosed with cancer and its associated side effects necessitated care at home, and eventual palliative care at The Grace, and we take comfort in knowing that Boyd is now at peace.

We the family ask of those who knew Boyd to remember him in their thoughts and prayers, or just by raising a glass to him (preferably a malt whiskey, his favourite tipple).
