HEMMINGS, Gordon Hemmings

It is with love and gratitude for a life well lived that we announce the passing of Gordon Hemmings on June 10, 2026, at the remarkable age of 100.

Gordon was predeceased by his beloved wife, Madeline β€œLynn” Hemmings, and by his dear brother, William β€œBill” Hemmings. Together with those who went before him, they remain forever a cherished part of his story and legacy.

He leaves behind his loving daughter, Nancy Legrow (Michael), and his cherished grandsons, Bradley Drew (Andrea) and Jeffrey Drew (Christina). Gordon was a proud

and devoted great-grandfather to Nathan, Oliver, Taegan, Ryan, and Violet, each of whom brought him immense joy and pride.

Gordon’s century-long journey was marked by resilience, kindness, quiet strength, and a deep appreciation for family and friendship. He was fortunate to enjoy the company of many friends, whose companionship brought him great happiness throughout the years. Whether sharing stories, laughter, or time together, Gordon valued the relationships he built and maintained over a lifetime.

An avid golfer, Gordon could often be found on the golf course enjoying a round with friends and embracing the camaraderie that came with the game. He was also a

passionate bridge player who delighted in the challenge, strategy, and social connection the game provided. Golf and bridge were more than hobbies to Gordonβ€”they were opportunities to build friendships, create memories, and enjoy life to its fullest. Those who knew Gordon will remember his warm smile, gentle nature, sharp mind, and unwavering love for his family. His wisdom, stories, and quiet strength will continue to inspire those who were fortunate enough to know him.

The love Gordon shared with his family and friends will live on through the generations that follow. Β As we say goodbye, we celebrate a life rich in experiences, friendship, love, and familyβ€”a life truly well lived.
