ABRAMOWICH, John Joseph
It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of John Joseph Abramowich, age 71, on Wednesday, June 26, 2024, at Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre (TBRHSC).
John was born in Fort William on December 31, 1952. He was the housing manager at Native People of Thunder Bay Development Corporation for 30 years before retiring in 2019.
John is survived by his loving wife Marie, sons Kristofer and Jason, siblings Larry (Jean), Bill, Yvonne (Peter), sister-in-law Annette (Luka), and numerous nieces and nephews. John was predeceased by his parents Martha and John, and sister-in-law Julie.
Cremation has taken place, and there will be no funeral as per John’s wishes. If so desired, donations can be made to the Thunder Bay District Humane Society or to the TBRHSC in John’s memory.
