VICENTE, Afonso Costa - Bombarral, Portugal November 4, 1927, passed away peacefully in Toronto on December 14, 2020.
He was a loving husband to Irene Ferreira Vicente, who predeceased him in 2007.
Devoted father to his children Dr. George Vincent, Isabel Vincent and his daughter-in-law Dr. Franklynne Vincent.
He was immensely proud of his grandchildren Dr. Matthew Vincent, Alexander Vincent, Harrison Vincent and Hannah Milic.
A proud Canadian, an exacting builder and a longtime member of the United Brotherhood of Carpenters and the First Portuguese Canadian Club of Toronto, he believed in giving back to the community.
During these difficult times, in lieu of flowers, a donation to a local food bank, such as the Parkdale Community Food Bank, would be greatly appreciated.
The family thanks Dr. Peter Jaksa and the entire staff on 2M at St. Joseph's Hospital for their compassionate care.
