Gibson AlfredGIBSON, Alfred Gibson   -
March 29, 1943 - January 5, 2024

Born on March 29, 1943, in St Vincent and the Grenadines, embarked on a remarkable journey that spanned continents and generations.

On June 5, 1965, he sealed a lifelong commitment to his one true love, Patsy Davis.

Relocating to Birmingham, England in 1964, Alfred, with Patsy by his side in 1965, embraced diverse roles, from an electrical apprentice to a skilled forklift driver.

In March 1968, their family expanded with the arrival of their son, Steve. Returning to St. Vincent and the Grenadines, Alfred assumed the role of a supervisor at CK Greaves to provide steadfast support for his growing family. In May 1973, their joy multiplied with the birth of their daughter, Samantha, completing the cherished Gibson family.

The next chapter unfolded in Canada, where, in October 1976, Alfred and Patsy, inspired by the footsteps of friends and family, made their new home. At A.G. Simpson's Scarborough plant, Alfred's dedication shone as a Shipper/Forklift Operator for 30 years, contributing to the transportation of car parts manufactured in the factory. His commitment culminated in a well-deserved retirement from A.G. Simpson in February 2006.

Alfred, known for his amiable nature, effortlessly forged enduring friendships wherever life took him. His warmth, tenderness, love, and selflessness defined him. An easygoing spirit, he navigated life without complaint, leaving a lasting impact on those fortunate enough to know him.

On January 5, 2024, at the age of 80, Alfred Gibson bid farewell, leaving behind a legacy of love and a lifetime of cherished memories.

He is survived by his devoted wife Patsy of 58 years, son Steve (Monica), daughter Samantha (Bill), four adoring grandchildren: Madyson, Dominic, Ariana, and Alize, and many friends and other family.
