ALLEN, Tony Allen  – Passed away peacefully on August 1, 2024.

He will always be remembered for his patience, kindness, and a mischievous twinkle in his eye. Tony was a loving husband to Janet (Stewart), his wife of 59 years; a cherished father to Heather (Ric Casale) and Shelagh (Andrew McKee), and a devoted grandfather to Oliver and Andrea.

Born in Toronto on November 24, 1940, Tony was the youngest of four siblings.

He loved the outdoors and sports, with high school and university years spent on the football field. A graduate of the University of Toronto in Commerce and Finance, he went on to become a Chartered Accountant and pursue a successful career in real estate development. Treasured memories include Tony leading the singsong at summer bonfires, skiing like the wind, and his quiet yet sage counsel.

In later years he loved golfing, cooking, and bringing friends and family together over breakfast, dinner, or a slice of delicious carrot cake.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
