Charko AnnCHARKO, Ann Adeline - (July 3, 1922 - August 31, 2017) -

We are sad to announce the passing of our mother on Thursday, August 31, 2017 at the age of 95.

She is survived by her children Dennis (Margaret), Janet, (Richard), Philip (Susan), Robert (Linda), and Lori (Ed). She will be missed by her 12 grandchildren, and 13 great-grandchildren.

She was predeceased by her husband of 68 years, Eugene (Gene) Charko, who passed away on March 13, 2017.

Ann was a loving and supportive mother to her children and a loving and caring wife to her husband. She was a creative person who enjoyed oil painting, sewing and knitting. Ann was an accomplished homemaker who made the best perogies, cabbage rolls and sticky buns. She enjoyed golfing in her later years with Gene and had no difficulty in hitting the ball straight down the fairway.

Visitation at Bay Gardens Funeral Home, Hamilton on Monday, September 4th from 3 pm until the time of Funeral Service at 4 p.m. in the chapel.

For those who wish, memorial donations made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or Alzheimer Society would be appreciated.

The family wishes to thank all who have offered their prayers and condolences.
