SUCHY, Anton "Tony" Suchy - Passed away peacefully with family by his side at Oak Ridges Hospice on Friday November 24, 2023 at the age of 87 years.
Loving husband of 61 years to Luise (nee Stuber).
Cherished father of Rob (Kimberly), Rosemary Osztertag (Steve) and Anthony (Darlene).
Opa will always be loved and remembered by his grandchildren Nichole, Matthew, Michael, Katerina, Christopher, Mark and Victoria.
Tony is survived by his brother Albert Suchy and brother in-law Klaus Stuber (Gail) along with his nephews and nieces. Tony was born May 20, 1936 in Brestowatz, Yugoslavia.
He travelled alone to Canada at the age of 19 where he met the love of his life Luise. Together they built a life on hard work and love. His family was his pride and joy.
His smile, laughter and sense of humour will be missed each and everyday.
A memorial service will be held at Low & Low Funeral Home, 1763 Reach Street, Port Perry on Friday December 1, 2023 at 1:00 PM with visitation to commence at 11:00 AM. Reception to follow in the fellowship lounge of the funeral home.
As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations to Oak Ridges Hospice would be appreciated by the family.
