SASALOVA, Apolonia - February 9th 1953 - August 12 2020 -
Passed away peacefully surrounded by her 3 daughters Andrea, Lucia, Michaela and her very much loved husband of 48 years Jozef on August 12 2020.
She was born in a beautiful mountain range in eastern Slovakia. Growing up in the mountains she developed her love towards the nature.
She was a very special woman full of life, love and modesty. Her simplicity, yet uniqueness made her extraordinary in each way.
Apolonia lived for her children and grandchildren. She lightened every room like a star lights the sky every night. Her softness was calming like a stream running through woodland. Her strength and will to live was like an echo you hear at the top of the mountain. Her beauty resembled a field full of flowers.
Our mom fought to the last seconds of her life with this cruel terminal sickness and she showed us to “live each day as our life had just begun”.
Apolonia will be truly missed each and every day by her beloved husband Jozef, three daughters Andrea, Lucia, Michaela. Andreas husband Steve, Michaela’s husband Riaan and Lucy’s partner Bryan.
She will always be in the hearts of her four grandsons she always cherished and loved so unconditionally Christopher, Sebastian, Benjamin and Matthew and outlived by the only remaining sibling Maria Jacova.
There are many empty hearts lefts after passing of our amazing Mom, grand Mom, sister, wife, god parent, aunt and friend from other extended family and friends. You will be missed deeply.
