Barbara Anne Wilson was born in Toronto on January 4, 1953 and died on Monday, March 4, 2024, at Brampton Civic hospital around 4 a.m.
She had a compromised immune system and succumbed to a virus over the weekend.
Barb worked in business administration for the non-profit sector and cared for two foster children.
She liked to read, listened to classical and jazz music, and take long walks in nature.
Barb is survived by her husband, Scott Bootes; children, Caroline Henry and James Groves; and siblings, Gilbert Carty, Albert Carty, and Diane Carty as well as Shelley Murrelle and Bobby Wilson of the Jackson family.
