MENDOZA, Bernarda Maranan - Was born on April 20, 1947 to Hugo and Juana Maranan.
She passed away peacefully in her sleep on October 14, 2021 at the age of 74 years old.
She was predeceased by her husband of 47 years, Rolando Mendoza.
She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister and a friend to many.
Bernarda was born in Batangas City, Philippines and pursued post-secondary studies in the faculty of Education.
She immigrated to Canada in 1988 and primarily lived in Mississauga however, in 2007 Bernarda and Rolando moved back and forth between Mississauga and Calgary.
She married Rolando in 1970 and they were blessed with 4 children. Arlan (Thess), Alma (Mudar), Israel (Joyce) and the late Aileen. She was the proud Lola (grandmother) of Zyus, Zylan, Joelle, Michael and Mateo.
Bernarda was the 4th child among 10 siblings within her family. She is survived by her siblings Marieta (Tita), Ernesto (Esto), Leticia (Letty), Natividad (Susan) and Violeta (Boyet) and predeceased by her siblings Bienvinedo, Pablo the first, Pablo the second (Pabling) and Domingo (Dodie).
A visitation will be held on Thursday October 21, 2021 at the Brampton Funeral Home and Cemetery, Brampton, from 5-8 PM. A Funeral Service will follow be held on Friday October 22, 2021 at 1PM, Followed by the Interment.
