Margaret “Joan” Blair (nee Corkery)

January 1937 – December 2024

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of Margaret “Joan” Blair (nee Corkery) on December 28, 2024, at Ajax Pickering Hospital, surrounded by her loving family. Joan was the beloved wife of Vern for 60 years and the devoted mother of Martin, Jeanette, Gina, Randall, Greg, and Jamie. She was a proud grandmother of 18 and great-grandmother of nine, who will all cherish her memory.

At Joan’s request, no visitation will be held. A Mass celebrating her life will take place at 11:00 a.m. on January 3, 2025, at Holy Redeemer Church, 796 Eyer Dr, Pickering, ON L1W 3C2.

Joan will be remembered for her unwavering love for her family, her kind heart, and her gentle spirit.
