Beppie Boudens
May 5, 1932 – October 10, 2024

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Beppie Boudens-Alexande, who passed away peacefully on the morning of October 10, 2024, surrounded by her three loving daughters. Born in Lohkseumawe, Aceh, Indonesia, on May 5, 1932, Beppie lived a rich and fulfilling life, from her early years in Indonesia and the Netherlands to her final decades in Canada.

Beppie met her husband, Pieter, through mutual friends, and the two married in 1960. Together, they raised four children, Jacoba (Jackie), Hildegonda (Connie), Margaretha (Maggie), and Augustinus (Gus). After relocating to Canada in 1968, Beppie continued to share her love of art, music, and education. She excelled in fibre arts, created many original works, and was deeply engaged in her community, from mental health advocacy to involvement in school associations.

Beppie is predeceased by her husband Pieter, son Gus, and her older brother, Rob. She leaves behind her daughters and their families, as well as many extended relatives and dear friends. A celebration of her life will take place on Saturday, October 26 at 10:30 am at the Oshawa Funeral Home.

Flowers are welcomed, as are donations to the following charities in Beppie’s name: Le Havre/Our Harbour, Ami-Quebec, and Women’s Health Collective Canada.

Memories and notes of condolence may be shared at Oshawa Funeral Home.
