MAGEE, Brenda (nee VINCE) - Passed away at Juravinski Hospital, on Saturday, January 27, 2024, at the age of 75.
Beloved mother to Amanda Magee (John Carbone) and Erin Magee (Nicole Albino).
Cherished grandmother to Goldie, Jaxon, Matteo and Violet.
Loving wife of Jack. Brenda will be missed by her sister, Sydney Brierley (Michael); and her brother, Don Vince (Marsie). The bravest and strongest mother, sister, wife, daughter and friend.
Through the years of pain Brenda endured, she maintained an inspiring amount of courage, curiosity, dignity, faith, and humour.
Brenda was a true originator and non-conformist in her actions and beliefs. She certainly challenged the norm and defied all odds. Traits her daughters admired and cherished.
She loved her family deeply and frequently expressed her appreciation of them. She had an incredible bond with her two daughters, who she loved as much as they loved her. She will be remembered for her wisdom and playfulness by her four grandchildren.
Brenda had the ability of making everyone around her feel special, important, and appreciated – and you could see in her caregivers faces that they felt the same way about her.
A heartfelt thank you to the many medical professionals that cared for Brenda over the past 20 years. You were her extended family.
Visitation at Smith's Funeral Home, 1167 Guelph Line, Burlington, on Thursday, February 1, 2024, from 4-8 p.m. A Service of Remembrance will be held in the Chapel on Friday, February 2, 2024, at 10 a.m.
